The Eastern Africa Grain Council (EAGC in partnership with Selian Agricultural Research Institute (SARI) are launching the first agribusiness expo of its kind in Tanzania. The Agribusiness Expo will to take place on 8th and 9th June, 2012, at the SARI grounds in Arusha, Tanzania.
Food security and trade policy experts from both regional and international bodies have agreed to form a policy advisory forum that will give counsel on policy matters affecting the continent. The forum dubbed “Agricultural Trade Policy Advisory Forum (ATPAF-ESA)” will focus on East and Central Africa (ESA) region, but will also link with other policy advisory processes in the continent.
