Sharifa Chikaha
Program Officer
Sharifa joined EAGC as a graduate intern on 13th November 2014 and later confirmed as a Programs Officer on 13th May 2015. She is a graduate of Sokoine University of Agriculture. She studied Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness. She has previously worked with the Private Agricultural Sector Support (PASS-Morogoro) and Tanzania Agricultural Productivity Program (TAPP-USAID- Morogoro).
Ledis Yohanes Kigala
Program Officer
Ledis joined EAGC in December 2017. He previously worked with MVIWATA (National network of small scale farmer groups in Tanzania) in Kyela District. Ledis holds a Master of Science in Agriculture Production Chain Management from Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences and Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics and Agribussiness from Sokoine University of Agriculture, Morogoro, Tanzania. Ledis is responsible for providing overall implementation, support and co-ordination of EAGC programs and services in the Southern Highland region of Tanzania.
Prudence Gerald Mushi
Programs Officer
Prudence Gerald Mushi joined EAGC in November 2017. He is a graduate from Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) with a Bachelor Degree in Rural Development. He has previously worked with Advansmart Business Consultancy as Business Consultant, Sokoine University of Agriculture, and International Potato centre as Research Assistant. Prudence is responsible for effectively and efficiently executing the STS activities that facilitate grain aggregation and storage with the aim of meeting market demand for grain and the approved quality standards
Gertrude Gasper Mbura
Programs Officer
Gertrude Mbura joined EAGC in November 2018. She holds an Advance Diploma in community Development from the Community Development Institute Tengeru (CDTI – Tengeru). Gertrude has previously worked with MVIWATA Arusha as a Marketing officer, Building Rural Income Through Enterprise (BRITEN) as a Business Advisor, Agricultural Market Trust Kenya (AGMARK) as a commercial Trainer. She is responsible for providing overall implementation, support and co-ordination of EAGC programs and services in Arusha, Tanzania.
Samwel Hizza
Field Officer
Samwel Hizza joined EAGC in October 2018. He holds a Bachelors’ Degree in Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness from Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA). Samwel has previously worked with Akiba Commercial Bank Plc as a Portfolio Quality Manager, Litenga Holding Limited as a Branch Manager. Samwel is responsible for implementing the AGRA Ihemi-Ludewa Cluster Project in Iringa and Njombe regions of Tanzania.
