Kiiza Kizito
Country Programs Manager
Kiiza holds a Master of Science Degree in Development Economics from Uganda Martyrs University, a Diploma in Project Planning and Entrepreneurship Development from Uganda Cooperative College Kigumba and a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture (Economics Option) of Makerere University Kampala. Kiiza previously worked for the USAID Feed the Future Uganda Youth Leadership for Agriculture Activity (FtFYLA) as the Skills Development Manager and Team Leader for Central Uganda. Before joining USAID, he worked with NCBA CLUSA International as an Agribusiness Advisor and later promoted to Regional Coordinator for Mid-Western Uganda. He also worked with the National Agricultural Advisory Services (NAADS) as the Agricultural Advisor
Pausta Clessy Nuwagaba
Program Officer
Pausta holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture – Makerere University. He also holds a Certificate in Mind-set change and Community Agricultural Leadership Development-Makerere University. He was previously a Tutor at the 9th International Training Course on Organic Agriculture (ITCOA) from 1st May to 30th July 2014.
Justine Namubiru
Programs Officer
Program Assistant Justine is in charge of Administration based at the EAGC Uganda Office. She holds a Bachelor of Tourism Degree from Makerere University and a Certificate in Project Planning & Management also from Makerere University. The Board of Directors and the Management of the Eastern Africa Grain Council (EAGC) is pleased to announce the appointment of the following staff based at the EAGC Country Office in Kampla, Uganda and Regional Office respectively.
Rhoda Kahita
Programs Assistant
Rhoda joined EAGC 1st March 2018. She started her career at Eastern Africa Grain Council as a Graduate Trainee in the Administration department in October 2016. During her Graduate Training program, Rhoda actively participated in both Administration and programs activities at Country level. She has also previously worked with Uganda Retirements Benefits Regulatory Authority as a volunteer in the Risk Analysis Department. She holds a Bachelors’ Degree in Business Administration (Finance Option) from Makerere University Kampala, Uganda. Rhoda will be responsible for general Administration, procurement, logistics and office management in the Uganda Country Office.
Reagean Mugume
Programs officer - M& E
Regean joined EAGC 19th February 2018. He previously worked for the Presidential Initiative on Banana Industrial Development (PIBID), Uganda Bureau of statistics (UBOS) and as a consultant in conducting baseline surveys, impact assessment studies and national budget facilitation with Bible society of Uganda and Civil Society Budget Advocacy Group (CSBAG) respectively.
Daniel Eling
Accounts Officer
Daniel is a Certified Public Accountant, (CPA-U). He holds a Bachelors’ Degree in Commerce (Accounting Option) and Uganda Diploma in Business Studies (Accounting Option). He is currently pursuing his Master of Business Administration. Daniel has previously worked with Uganda Heart Institute (UHI) in 2009 as a Cashier in the Accounts Department, a position he held till December 2012 and later as an Accounts Assistant. He was promoted to the position of Project Accountant in February 2016, a position he held till the date he joined EAGC. Daniel will be responsible for Financial Reporting and Budgeting, Book Keeping, Debtor and Supplier Management, Payroll management, Adherence to Internal Controls among others in the Country office.
Semakula Simon Peter
Driver/Messenger
Simon Peter joined EAGC 19th February 2018. He has previously worked with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Uganda as the Ambassadors Driver and Watoto Child Care Ministries as a Driver. He has a certificate in customer care and driver’s etiquette and defensive driving obtained from prestige driving school. Simon Peter will be responsible for driving organization staff in a safe manner as well as carrying out messengerial duties allocated to him by his supervisor in Uganda.
