The Grain Business Institute conducted a four-day training and certification of fumigators at the Eureka Place Hotel in Kampala. The training was held in partnership with the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences of Makerere University and Uganda’s Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF).

The trainees participated in an intense theoretical session and a practical fumigation session at Grain Pulse Warehouses. 19 participants were successfully trained and certified as fumigators.
