Eastern Africa Grain Council this week is attending the COMESA Regional Food Balance Sheet (RFBS) Committee meeting in Lusaka Zambia. The Regional RFBS will collate data on available #food and highlight the surplus and deficit regions to inform #policy and commercial decisions on regional #trade in food from surplus to deficit countries for improved availability and #foodsecurity .

Eastern Africa Grain Council is a member of the Committee alongside other regional private sector and non state actors including Eastern Africa Farmers Federation (EAFF) , COMESA Business Council and the Southern African Confederation of Agriculture Unions.
